New Smyrna Beach is known for its charm, its rich history, great surfing, unbeatable fishing and boating, amazing seaside dining and shopping, and pristine, white sand beaches beyond compare; but did you know that New Smyrna is also packed full of a wide array of fun events that take place throughout the entire year? It’s true!
There is spectacular sampling of events which occur every month, including the strolls along historic Canal Street. Choose the Art Stroll or a Sip and Stroll Craft Beer Tasting the first Saturday in the month. On the second Saturday, cruise on over to the Classic Car Cruise, where tons of classic cherry rides, talented entertainers and food vendors fill the streets. If Sunday is better for you, simply head over to the Riverside gazebo on Canal for a family-friendly Sunday Concert.
Right now, we’re heading into summer and summertime is no slouch when it comes to incredible events in New Smyrna Beach! New Smyrna Beach Flagler Avenue Seaside Festival marks the start of summer. There’s also the New Smyrna Beach Sand Art Festival, New Smyrna’s Kite Flying Festival and then New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival to round things out in September.
When we’re not plagued by a pandemic, there are parades for Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day and what we like to call New Smyrna-ween, as well as parades by land and see in celebration of the holidays! There is a tree lighting at Christmas and fireworks on the 4th and New Year’s. And as we start up another new year, you won’t want to miss the New Smyrna Beach Art Fiesta in February, the March Music Festival and Vintage Fair and the New Smyrna Beach Wine and Food Festival in April.
